About Us
At Michelle Braidman Associates Ltd we feel it is our responsibility to represent our clients with care, due diligence and as comprehensively as possible. We believe that our clients should be in a position of choice in theatre, film and television; and to work with the best actors, directors and creative talent in the industry.
Within our agency Michelle, Nicola and Rebecca all jointly represent the clients, there are no individual lists.
Michelle Braidman formed Michelle Braidman Associates with her husband, Alan Turner, in 1983. Michelle trained on the Stage Management Course at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School from 1970-1971, and worked as a Stage Manager in the regions (including Northampton, Coventry and Bristol), the West End, Canada and the first Actors Company led by Sir Ian McKellen. Her last production as a Stage Manager was "I Do! I Do!" with Rock Hudson and Juliet Prowse.
In 1976, Michelle changed direction to become an agent with a leading theatrical agency, building up a client list, many of whom she still represents today.
Michelle Braidman Associates has been a member of the Personal Managers’ Association since 1988. Michelle now co-chairs the Artists side.
Nicola Whitworth joined Michelle Braidman Associates as an assistant in 1995 upon graduation from York University. Working her way up, she became an Agent, and was made a Partner in 2000.
Rebecca Kirby is the latest addition to Michelle Braidman Associates, having joined in 2007 after two years at Ken McReddie Associates Ltd. She graduated from De Montfort University in 2003 with a BA (Hons) in Performing Arts.
Alan Turner set up the Company with Michelle in 1984 from a wide ranging experience in running businesses.
